Above are two dish towels I sewed for a client. I love the clean lines she chose.

These are "flour sack" towels. I made them as hostess gifts.
They are $15.00,
that's as much as I would have spent on a bottle of wine for each!
I think the towels are so much cuter plus they can be used over and over!

I love these birth announcements they are super cute!! I found them at Truly Mom. One of the girls who started the company is a cancer survivor. A portion of their profits goes to cancer research at UCLA. Love that.

The mug above is mine. I've been using it for about 6 months now and it still looks GREAT!

I love, love, love these custom travel mugs . They are truly the PERFECT gift! I've been selling them for a while, and my customers keep telling me to list them so here they are! They are stainless steel and hold 16 ounces. I use mine every morning.

When I decided to create travel mugs, I did not want the light weight stainless or plastic tumblers. So, I searched high and low for the best and found them!!

These are custom...you choose the fabric, font and thread color.

Well life, at times, throws you unpleasantries (is that a word?...it is, I just googled it) and ...you just have to wait :) That's me right now.....The Madison Monograms web site is 'suspended' and therefore effecting the blog links...UGH! :) I don't know why it's suspended... sooooo I'm looking into it... just wanted everyone to know...Hopefully, the site will be up soon....In the meantime, I'm off to pray, monogram a pillow case and look for the good in this... ;)

Okay, I really promise I am not neglecting EVERYTHING ...but...I am working on getting all the kiddos situated in school....as well as filling "Lily" orders...yea! So, keep checking back..

Look what we have...

Vintage sailcloth bags!

These adorable totes are handmade from 100% recycled sailcloth. That's right, recycled sails from sailboats!! Perfect for the pool, beach and of course the BOAT! I cannot describe how cute these are...if you've seen them in person, you know what I'm talking about!

They are durable and water resistant and can even be thrown in the washing machine!
Because they are all handmade from vintage sails, each bag varies in color... and that's what makes them so unique!

Ok I'm in California w/the fam and I'm having withdrawls b/c, for various reasons, I can't post any pics...

However, one thing I had to mention {because I wear them everyday} is how I'm loving my Tory Burch flip flops I bought at South Coast Plaza... Why is no one talking about these?? Maybe someone is....anyway... they are sooo cute and extremely cheap for her..... $45! I picked mine out of a big basket that's in the TB store...I think they are last season but I LOVE them .....Just thought someone might want to know :)

Engraved Tumbler Giveaway!

Welcome to Madison Monograms! And welcome to our new blog! I am so excited about this blog because I will be able to stay connected to my customers in a more personal way. That said, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am from a small town in Southern California that is still, to me, the most wonderful place in the world! After college, I married a great guy and we now have 4 great kids. Over the last 18 years we have moved A LOT....because of my hubby's job, we have lived all over the country! But we've settled now and are putting down roots in Mississippi. This has been easy since it's where my husband grew up. In a lot of ways, Mississippi reminds me of my hometown. People are kind and manners and politeness are very important. One difference, however, would be the WEATHER! We can talk more about that later!

As of now, I am homeschooling 3 of our 4 children....SO, you may ask, when do I have time to sew?? Well, I would say, I don't have time not to! I love it so much, I love to create things, it is an outlet for me. I am so thankful for the grace that's been given our family and being able to be with people I truly love and doing what I love.

My business started over 10 years ago. I had a stationery store (I think that's how everyone starts!). I sold it to a friend and we moved back home (home for me anyway). I got a little antsy and needed something to do so I bought a monogramming machine and the rest is history. My website is a labor of love and one of the main "laborers" is Avie of Fritzer Designs she has done everything, which includes putting up with me and my wanting everything done YESTERDAY!! :)

Now, along with the website, we have the blog because it's so much more personal. On it, I will introduce new products and have lots of giveaways so check back often! Also, you can "follow" the blog.
